About Me

I began my therapy journey with a BSc. degree in Psychology...
…followed by two years working as an assistant Clinical Psychologist within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in the NHS. Like all people, my patients responded differently to the variety of psychological techniques offered, but the one technique that had the most profound effect with all of my clients was teaching self hypnosis. It was at that point that my curiosity about hypnotherapy grew.
My initial hypnotherapy training back in 2003 was in curative hypnotherapy; an approach that seeks to identify and then correct the root cause of a problem. The results were impressive, but it wasn’t successful with everyone and some clients didn’t want to revisit past experiences. My desire to treat each person and their problem uniquely led me further in my exploration of what else hypnosis could achieve, and I went on to train in solution-focused hypnotherapy, Eriksonian hypnotherapy, cognitive behaviour hypnosis, clinical hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or tapping), NLP, coaching and EMDR amongst many others.

I enjoy creating a bespoke service for each of my clients based on my wealth of experience, knowledge and intuition.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my beautiful family. I’m a wife. I’m a devoted mum to my two young sons as well as my pet tortoise, Linus. I’m vegan. I’m a Lindy Hop dancer. I love to dabble in interior design. I’m learning about indoor plants and hoping to keep them alive. I love to travel. My favourite season is autumn. My favourite thing to do is taking the kids to the seaside. My weakness is salted caramel brownies
